This time of year I get alot of questions about River Larry Anchor Winches so I thought that this would be the perfect time to write a blog about them. The River Larry Anchor Winch is a powerful, rugged, and extremely well built winch that allows you to achieved pinpoint anchor placement with ease. These bad boys are backed by a 10,000 hour continuous run 12-volt motor and draw less than 13 amps under full load. They also feature a continuous run industrial gearbox with a built in pressure relief valve.

Already pre-spooled on the winch you will find 50 feet of 3/8" diameter kern mantle rescue rope which has an 8,000 pound strength and a 1.2% water absorption rate. Along with the winch already being pre-spooled, it also comes with one relay, one switch, and a circuit breaker. 

River Larry also makes a very nicely designed anchor tower to go along with the winch. You can buy these two as a package or individually on their own. We always have at least one set in stock so if you just need one or the other we will have you covered.

Vans Sport Center has plenty of experience installing these but the cost of that really depends on your boat and what you all want done. My suggestion would be to talk to our service manager Brian. Let him know the size of your boat as well as any additional options such as extra switches installed and so forth. After knowing what you have and the work needed to be done he can give you a more realistic quote.
